What scares you?

In the spirit of Halloween, I thought it would be fun to unveil what scares us the most. And I'm not talking about death or taxes or whatever. I'm talking about the real stuff (or the pretend stuff if you want to think of it that way) that freaks you out. For me, it's simple--ghosts. Not like Casper-type ghosts. I'm talking about the kind that turn lights on and off, open cabinets, or show up only to children or pets. I'm talking about ghosts like these:

  2. I'm absolutely terrified of 'shadow people.' The ghosts that appear as dark shadows and whatnot. Scare me half to death.

  3. In the daytime, not much scares me, but when it's night, I'm easily creeped out. I'm a baby like that.

  4. I thought so too, Mirka. :)

Kelley -- Yep, I'm the same. If I catch something out of the corner of my eye and then turn to see nothing there, I'm totally freaked out.

Kelly -- I'm a big baby at night too! I used to check under my bed every night before bad. :D

  5. What really scares me is looking around crowds of people and realizing that someone, somewhere is capable of doing horrible stuff to me or my children and you never know who they are. It scares the crud out of me.

    Great post!

  6. I get creeped out in the dark if I'm alone. And I really freak out when I wake up in the night and think I hear someone moving around in the other room. That's why I have dogs now.
