Directions: Below, you’ll notice that I’ve listed my lucky book number. Collect the lucky book numbers of all the authors on Team GREEN, and then add them up (don’t worry, you can use a calculator!). Entry Form: Once you’ve added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify. Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian’s permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by November 2nd, at noon Eastern Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

If 2014 was about learning, 2015 is about focus
I started out in publishing writing what I wanted to write. I wrote fast paced, action-packed stories full of heart and readers responded well. I didn’t hit a list or sell a million copies or anything, but GRAVITY and HOVER did hit #1 in teen sci-fi on Amazon, which with series like the Hunger Games and Divergent in the world, this was no easy feat! So, I saw some successes. The problem was that I didn’t really know what I was doing. Ha! I wrote with no knowledge of what worked or didn’t. I made mistakes, but I also learned from them. Win!
2014 then became my year of learning. Learning how I write, and what I do best. I now know my strengths are voice, dialogue, and emotion. I tested myself, which is good. But I also made a decision to try to write the way others write in 2014, and that title ended up being my worst selling book. Le sigh. Still learning!
